It is with a heavy heart we announce that the North Colorado Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure is closing its doors.

We are now distributing our final round of grants to the area in the amount of more than $55,000.
           
Thanks to the involvement and generosity of our community, the Komen North Colorado Affiliate has been able to support life-saving education, screening and treatment programs for breast cancer here in Greeley and in surrounding areas since 1999.

The Komen Denver Metropolitan Affiliate is the closest Komen Affiliate to our area. To participate in a Komen Race for the Cure or other events to support the breast cancer movement, please consider Denver. You can learn more at www.komendenver.org.

The North Colorado Affiliate will fund a total of six grants for the 2009-2010 grant year, for a total of $55,538.45.
